Ohoven was born in Neuss in 1946. The investment adviser leaves behind a wife and two children.

Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier emphasized that Ohoven had achieved great things for medium-sized businesses. "I appreciated him very much. Our thoughts are with his family and his employees," tweeted the CDU politician.
