Dieter Bohlen will actually return to the spotlight in 2022. The producer and musician will appear as a “special guest” at a festival. The ex-DSDS juror now confirms this on Instagram.
After almost 20 years as a juror for “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, Dieter Bohlen, 67, suddenly ended in 2021. The format and the producer have been going separate ways ever since. As has now been announced, Bohlen is now planning his return to the big stage – but not on TV.

A new name is emblazoned on the official homepage of the “Favorite Songs” Festival: Dieter Bohlen has been announced as a “Special Guest”. The event is to take place in the Rheinaue leisure park in Bonn on August 6, 2022 – so until then there will still be a lot of time that the pop titan will spend away from the show stage. How exactly will Dieter Bohlen’s comeback look like? Apparently he will bring his top hits from the “Modern Talking” era and perform them for the best.
In addition to Dieter Bohlen, pop singer Vanessa Mai, 29, as well as Giovanni Zarrella, 43, and Beatrice Egli, 33, are officially confirmed. In addition, Ben Zucker, 38, Marianne Rosenberg, 66, and Jürgen Drews, 76, will perform their best songs.
