Capcom is a Japanese publisher and developer which has multiple franchises, some of which are still in the spotlight thanks to sequels, remakes or rebootsbut others are stored at the back of the cupboardalthough they were very popular with players of yesteryear. Dino Crisis is one of them.
Recently, Capcom threw a survey to ask players about their favorite licenses, which the Japanese studio regularly does, Dino Crisis was obviously there. Jeff Grubb, a well-informed journalist, said in a recent podcast Giant Bomb that he had heard about a game with dinosaurs in development at Capcomit is not certain that it wasExoprimal (available from €40.19 on Amazon, Cdiscount, there Fnac And Gamesplanet) and thinks that the project Dino Crisisremake or rebootwould still be in progress within the Japanese studio. As a reminder, Capcom hit hard with the remakes of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis And Resident Evil 4players would love to see a similarly modernized version of Dino Crisis. On the zombie side, logic would dictate that the studio make a remake of Resident Evil 5 (sorry to all the fans of RE Code: Veronica), a title dating from the PS3 and Xbox 360 era that is still very beautiful today, its gameplay hasn’t aged too much. Capcom would he then like to take a break from the resident Evil and tackle another license, like Dino Crisis? Mystery.
