US singer Dionne Warwick will be 80 years old on December 12th. However, age doesn't stop her from becoming a social media star.

Dionne Warwick (79) has been in show business since the 1960s. The American became world famous with hits like "Walk On By". The singer and presenter, who celebrates her 80th birthday on December 12th, is now becoming more and more familiar to a much younger generation, because Warwick is very popular on Twitter.

Within a few days, Warwick has almost doubled its fan base on the short message service to almost 92,000 followers. A short conversation with Chance the Rapper (27, "No Problem") certainly helped her. Warwick opened the two of them with a cheeky question. "Hi, Chance the Rapper. If you are obviously a rapper, why are you putting that in your stage name? I can't stop thinking about it", Warwick wrote, collecting with the tweet more than 116,000 likes within a few hours.

"Sorry, I'm still freaking out for you to know who I am. This is amazing!" happy chance and replied that he would take whatever name the famous singer would give him. These joked onthat she now wants to call herself "Dionne the Singer". The song "Holy" by Justin Bieber (26) and Chance the Rapper is currently one of her favorite songs.

Perhaps this short conversation could even lead to a collaboration between the two, for Warwick also answered: "Of course I know you. You are THE rapper. Let's rap together. I'll send you a message." Fans of both artists will be curious to see whether a collaboration will actually appear.

Warwick then tied The Weeknd (30). She asked her fellow singerwhy this is not correctly writing "The Weekend". She still needs an answer today. The Canadian songwriter, who is known for hits like "Blinding Lights" among other things, still owes her this.
