Dionne Warwick wants a series about her life on Netflix. She has already found the main role.
Dionne Warwick (80, "Walk on By") has loved tweeting for several weeks. A few days ago, she proposed a biopic series about her life on social media and wanted RnB singer Teyana Taylor (30) to play the leading role. According to information from the US medium "TMZ", they have now accepted the offer. Accordingly, the series is now already being planned.
Warwick hit last Wednesday (16.12.) presented a series about their lives to their 350,000 followers. In a video message she asked if her fans would watch such a show and wrote: "This is a case for Netflix. Please don't even ask who I would hire to play me, since it would be Teyana Taylor." "TMZ" now reports, citing internal sources, that the 80-year-old then got in touch with Taylor's manager, who arranged a conversation between the singers.
Accordingly, Teyana Taylor not only agreed to impersonate the soul singer in a possible series. The 30-year-old, who also works as a video director, even wants to have the series produced by her own production company together with Warwick. From a "wonderful" conversation also reported Dionne Warwick on Twitter. Teyana Taylor was now part of the "Warwick family" announced the singer.
Apparently the streaming portal Netflix is also interested in a series about the life of the soul legend. However, the plans are currently still in the initial phase, it says on "TMZ".
