There will indeed be a trial linked to the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar. This Tuesday, November 21, the investigating judges decided of the dismissal of Cédric Jubillar before the Tarn Assize Court, in the wake of the requisitions of the Toulouse public prosecutor’s office. Presumed innocent of the facts with which he is accused, the husband of the nurse who has disappeared since December 2020, remains the main suspect, indicted and incarcerated at the Seysses remand center since June 2021. In the order consulted by BFM TVit is particularly mentioned that “meticulous and exhaustive investigations which allowed (…) to bring together numerous elements constituting sufficient loads against the accused”.

This 61-page document, and its conclusions, caused the lawyer of several members of Delphine Jubillar’s family to react. “It is a pragmatic indictment order which eliminates areas of doubt. We had many questions during this investigationwe now have answers“, estimated Mr. Mourad Battikh, in The Parisianthis Wednesday, November 22. “Apart from numerous clues collected during the investigation, which all converge towards a single man, Cédric Jubillar, which weighs the most against him, maybe it’s his personality, and especially his attitude towards his missing wife”added Me Laurent Nakache-Haarfi, lawyer for the sister and two brothers of Delphine Jubillar.

Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar: what are the conclusions of the magistrates?

The investigating judges have ruled out certain avenues surrounding the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, including in particular “the theory of voluntary departure, suicide or accident and kidnapping”. In the eyes of the magistrates, there is no longer any doubt that “Cédric Jubillar is the author of the murder of his wife”, report our colleagues from Le Parisien. For this, they rely on clues including in particular “the major difficulty” of the father of two children in “resign” to see his wife leave him, or even a “impulsive and violent character” denounced by several testimonies. The investigating judges also pointed out lies and changes of versions regulars alongside Cédric Jubillar during training. Note that his lawyers now have 10 days to appeal his referral to the Tarn Assize Court.
