The mystery surrounding Lina’s disappearance remains complete. Since September 23, the 14-year-old girl has not given any sign of life. Whileshe was going to the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station (in Bas-Rhin), about 3 kilometers from her home, the teenager disappeared. The teenager was supposed to join her boyfriend Tao in Strasbourg for an afternoon of shopping. Despite the opening of an investigation into “kidnapping and sequestration” as well as the numerous beatings and searches, Lina remains nowhere to be found. A situation that never ceases to worry her best friend, Sandra. Very close to Lina, the 23-year-old young woman gave an interview to the magazine The New Detective, published this Wednesday, January 17. More than just a friend, Sandra was a true confidante for Lina who did not hesitate to speak out about his complex relationship with his father. “We both talked a lot, like two sisters. Lina spoke to me about her life, her horse, her family. The big problem was his father”, she confided. And to add: “She hasn’t seen him for years.”
Relations between father and daughter have often been stormy. “It must be said that when she was little, he insulted her several times”, Sandra revealed. Before returning to a particularly traumatic episode for Lina: “One day he even kicked her out at 6 a.m..” If she had little affinity with her father, the teenager had a special relationship with her mother, Fanny. “(…) she did everything for Lina. They were both very complicit, even united.. Lina told him a lot of things.”
Disappearance of Lina: the rare testimony of her father
Transferred to Isère, Lina’s dad quickly made the trip to Bas-Rhin upon learning of the disappearance of the teenager. Once arrived there, Olivier Delsarte, by his name, participated in a hunt organized on September 26 between Plaine and Saint-Blaise-la-Roche (near the station), in the presence of 380 volunteers. During this research, he spoke on BFMTV explaining that “everyone is in shock” and that he ultimately did not believe in a possible escape, as he initially thought. “It’s not in his character to leave for two days. To leave for an hour, perhaps, or two, but no more”he said shortly after the media coverage of this affair, describing Lina as a “happy little girl, full of life”. “It’s incomprehensible”he added with emotion, expressing his concern: “I hope she’s okay, that she’s in good health.”
