Disappearance of Lina, new twist in the investigation: “I showed everything”, irrefutable evidence revealed

She disappeared without a trace almost 5 months ago. Lina was walking to Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station to take a train to Strasbourg on September 23. But her boyfriend, Tao, who was waiting for her on the platform, simply never saw her get off the train engine. A few weeks later, a story resurfaced from the past, in particular because it could make investigators think of a kind of revenge: in June 2022, the 15-year-old teenager had filed a complaint for “gang rape of a minor under 15 years old” against two individuals.

One of these two young men, with particularly formidable profiles, agreed to answer questions from the police, first, then those from the magazine The New Detective Next. He explains having “summer heard for four hours by the police from Strasbourg” and reminds us that he has nothing to do with Lina’s disappearance – his alibi having been verified: “I was with a friend that day, I have Snaps that prove it, I showed everything to the investigators”, he emphasizes. “Lina, I didn’t kidnap her, I had nothing to do with it“. As for his colleague also targeted by the complaint, he would simply no longer speak to him.

The second person accused of “gang rape of a minor under 15 years old“did not wish to speak. So what was he doing on September 23, 2023?”I don’t know anything about it and to be honest I don’t care.”, comments his former friend. If they no longer speak to each other, it would be following an argument.”which is not linked to Lina’s accusations”, he concludes. As a reminder, the two individuals had invited Lina and a friend to go to one of them. The teenager was 13 years and 8 months old at the time – they were over 20. She had consumed alcohol and drugs and had fallen asleep, “stunned” by the substances that had been offered to her. That’s when she was allegedly abused.

Lina’s complaint was dismissed for lack of evidence, a fact largely denounced by Fiona, mother of Lina, and her lawyer. As part of the investigation into her disappearance, she is the subject of a “new legal study“and justice should deliver its verdict in March 2024. Questioned during the investigation, the two men defended themselves by swearing that the 13-year-old girl was “consenting“the day they had sexual intercourse with her and assure that it was”of a simple orgy“.
