Roger Morin, 75, disappeared on Friday February 17, 2023 after leaving his home in Malansac, in Morbihan. A call for witnesses has been launched. Research is ongoing.

It has been three days since he gave any sign of life. Roger Morin, 75, disappeared on Friday February 17, 2023 after leaving his home in Malansac, in Morbihan, around 4:30 p.m. Searches were immediately launched in the region, with the presence of a dog handler and a helicopter from Rennes, but this “were unable to find“the septuagenarian for the moment, indicated the Morbihan gendarmerie in a Facebook post broadcast on Saturday February 18. Eighty people notably participated in a pedestrian search “supervised by the gendarmerie“, no result.

If the gendarmes are particularly worried about this disappearance, it is because the septuagenarian would not have on him any document likely to allow anyone to identify him. “He is not carrying any telephone or identity document”¸ specifies the call for witnesses broadcast the day after his disappearance.

At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a plaid navy blue jacket, jeans type trousers and black shoes. The Allaire gendarmerie brigade encourages anyone likely to have information that could help the investigation progress to dial 17 or 02.99.71.91.01. For the time being, the authorities are not ruling out any leads.
