Disco Elysium: two hard blows for its studio and fans

ZA/UM got noticed with Disco Elysium, a role-playing game which received excellent reviews from the specialist press and which has attracted many players. But, while fans eagerly awaited the studio’s next production, the latter announces bad news.

As reported GLHF, ZA/UM reportedly in the process of laying off 24 employees, or 25% of its workforce. These developers mainly worked on Project X7, a stand-alone expansion for Disco Elysium now canceled. As a reminder, the studio has already canceled a sequel to its RPG and set aside only a science fiction game in a new license, but two other projects are still in gestation at ZA/UM.
