Fish, plant vegetables, talk to neighbors and decorate your house. No, this is not Animal Crossingbut Disney Dreamlight Valley, recently available in early access. Here, the inhabitants are the different protagonists of Disney films, from Elsa from the Snow Queen to Ariel the Little Mermaid, without forgetting the whole clique of Mickey, Goofy, Donald and company. Through two updates, still undated but scheduled for the fall, Scar, antagonist of The Lion King, will first land in one of the biomes already implemented around the main square. Later, a Toy Story kingdom will open in the corrupted castle and will add the cowboy Woody as a new inhabitant to invite to the valley.
A dozen other zones await their turn, this title being only planned for a final release (and in free-to-play) than in 2023. In the meantime, the game remains available on PC and consoles via the Founder’s Pack or in the Xbox Game Pass subscription. Be careful though, many bugs still need to be corrected, especially with regard to the saves in the clouds on Switch.
