Disney+: five reasons to (re)discover this cult series which has just arrived in streaming

Ally McBeal and its eccentric characters are back on our screens! To everyone’s surprise, the five seasons of this cult series, created by David E. Kelley (Nine Perfect Strangers, Big Little Lies) in 1997, arrived yesterday on the Disney+ streaming service.

Ally McBealit is above all Calista Flockhart, who played the title character brilliantly throughout the series, before subsequently becoming rarer on television (series fans have since been able to see her in Brothers and Sisters And Supergirl).

The credits ofAlly McBeal marked an entire generation and the voice of its interpreter, Vonda Shepard, still resonates in the heads of fans. The singer, who we also see in the series, was not, however, the only one to sing along in Ally McBeal.
