The French translators had to face a beautiful puzzle to find a name for the series spin off of the 2 movies Benjamin Gates, in which Nicolas Cage will no longer have the central role (or even any short role, unless there is a hypothetical cameo). Where the English version will be called National Treasure: Edge of Historytaking up the title of the franchise in the language of Shakespeare, we learned on the occasion of the D23 Expo that the project will be named with us Lost Treasures: Montezuma’s Secret.
A first teaser allowed us to find the cast composed of Catherine Zeta-Jones, Justin Bartha (who will resume his role as Riley Poole), Jordan Rodrigues, Antonio Cipriano, Zuri Reed, or even Jake Austin Walker. A new trailer shows us more of them in action, including a band of young explorers who will have to go in search of a mysterious treasure linked to the heroine’s family Jess Morales (Lisette Olivera).
the trailer broadcast this weekend is also an opportunity to learn the release date of Lost Treasures: Montezuma’s Secret : broadcast will start exclusively on Disney+ December 14, 2022.
