Disney shows images of its highly anticipated series Andor and Willow

Taking advantage of the Lucasfilm showcase studio held on the sidelines of a Star Wars celebration in Anaheim, California, Disney has released two short teasers that will make the mouths of fans of the license water. Star Wars and the emblematic Willowcult film of the 80s.

On the side of Andor, a series expected for the end of August which will be led by showrunner Tony Gilroy, co-author of RogueOne, Disney casts actor Diego Luna as main character Cassian Andor. We will follow the journey of his life after the destruction of his world by the Empire, as well as the birth of the rebellion. “The Andor series will explore a new perspective on the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series tells the story of the budding rebellion against the Empire and how the people and planets have been involved in it. The fans are already waiting, for some, for the following seasons which could lead us to the events of RogueOne, film during which the rebellion seeks to get their hands on the plans of the Death Star. It must be said that in the chronology Star Warsthe events ofAndor begin only five years before those of RogueOne.

At the end of November, another very popular license will land on Disney+, which owes its success to a single film released in 1988. Those who adore this magical epic will undoubtedly be delighted to find Warwick Davis in his role as a small magician in the big heart, Willow Ufgood.
