Disney+: Venom and seven Spider-Man movies coming soon to subscription

The Disney+ streaming service is adding a further eight Marvel productions to its subscription.

“Spider-Man” fans will soon get their money’s worth on Disney+. As confirmed by the streaming service, a full seven “Spider-Man” films will be added to the subscription library in the next few weeks.

Launching July 1, 2022

The starting signal for the new content will be given on July 1, 2022 in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. Then the two Spider-Man adventures “The Amazing Spider-Man” and the sequel “The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro” are available in the Disney+ subscription. In early July, Disney+ will also add the first spin-off of the 2018 spin-off, Venom, starring Tom Hardy, to its portfolio.

More Sony films planned for 2022

A week later, on July 8, 2022, the second major Marvel update will follow. From this date, the “Spider-Man” films “Spider-Man”, “Spider-Man 2”, “Spider-Man 3”, “Spider-Man: A New Universe” and ” Spider-Man: Homecoming”. It is currently unclear whether Disney+ will also record the Sony films “Morbius”, “Venom: Let There be Carnage”, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home”. However, Disney + mentions in its current press release that more Sony titles are planned for 2022. So it seems quite possible that the titles mentioned above will also find their way to the streaming service later this year.
