The Marvel Avengers Campus officially opened on July 20 at Disneyland Paris. Fans were there to discover the park’s new themed area dedicated to superheroes.

A few days after a preview reserved for certain journalists, influencers and other guests, visitors and lovers of the Marvel universe were able to discover the theme area of Walt Disney Studios Park, the second park of Disneyland Paris. And if the weather was capricious, the fans were there, sometimes having to wait several hours to discover the places. Thursday again, we are told that the wait is long to access the land and its attractions, sometimes up to two hours.

A roller coaster for thrill seekers and an attraction for all ages, featuring Iron Man and Spider-Man

The Marvel Avengers Campus has settled in the place of the late Backlot, the former Walt Disney Studios themed area which notably hosted the famous Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction with Aerosmith. This has given way to new attractions and new restaurants and shops in a place that, for those who knew the Walt Disney Studios before 2020, is now totally unrecognizable.

In detail, the Campus welcomes two new attractions. The first one, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, is none other than a high-speed roller coaster, where visitors are greeted by next-generation audio-animatronics, bearing the image of Iron Man. Once inside, the “recruits” soar into space aboard a vehicle equipped, by Tony Stark himself, with a homing device that will help them ward off the threats hanging over them. Earth.

The second attraction, Spider-Man WEB Adventure, entrusts recruits with superpowers that will allow them, like Peter Parker, to launch webs to capture the uncontrollable Spider-Bots, which are wreaking havoc on the Campus. All thanks to gesture recognition technology. Before that, visitors will discover WEB, a workshop that showcases the work of Peter Parker and his team.

Numerous catering outlets, and a Quinjet that dominates the Campus

Several catering points are also offered to the public in this Avengers Campus. There is the Pym Kitchen buffet, in homage to the Pym particles of Ant-Man, offering hot dogs, pretzel sandwiches, hamburgers, vegetables and cakes of disproportionate sizes.

The Stark Factory restaurant is more of a fast food restaurant, whose menu is made up of pizzas made in front of visitors, using a dough prepared every morning in the bowels of Disneyland Paris, we are told. The restaurant already has something atypical thanks to its Hulkbuster, this huge armor created for the Hulk with the help of Bruce Banner.

Other points, such as the WEB food truck, the FAN-tastic Food Truck and the Super Dinner, complete the catering offer of the Avengers Campus. The Mission Equipment store will delight fans and other shopaholics.

Then, as far as the “decorations” and other points of interest are concerned, you can’t miss the Quinjet and the ADV, the incredible Campus vehicle, which we presented to you on Clubic last April, alongside the 30 festivitiese anniversary of Disneyland Paris.
