Anne Roumanoff is back on stage with a new show called Life experience. This Friday, December 1st, she was precisely the guest of Daily to talk about it. For the occasion, Yann Barthès wanted to ask him several questions referring to his show. The TMC host notably asked his guest: “A mistake you made at 23 that you wouldn’t make again today?“, he asked himself. A question that did not fail to destabilize your interlocutor : “At 23? Why 23?” she asked, visibly perplexed. “It was 35 years ago“, underlined Yann Barthès.”Well I don’t know… What did I do?“, she asked herself, before worrying: “Do you have a file on me?“, she asked the host. “Oh no, not at all !“, her interlocutor immediately reassured her.
“Mistakes… I don’t know… For example, in theater classes, there are people who are extremely successful. If I had known, I would have flattered them more. Because in theater classes, those who succeeded, I would never have believed!“, she explained. “Are there people who are stars today that you have known?” asked Julien Bellver, curious. “Yes ! For example, Mylène Farmer, I remember, she was doing a scene from Chekhov (…) If someone had told me that this girl, five years later, she was at Bercy, I would have said: ‘but of course!’ Or Vincent Lindon, who was stuttering, I said to myself: ‘But poor guy, he’s never going to achieve anything!’ I think I’m not perceptive at all“, joked Elie Semoun’s friend.

Anne Roumanoff: this project that she has difficulty bringing to fruition
Interviewed by our colleagues from TV 7 days last October, Anne Roumanoff mentioned this project which is still at a standstill and which, according to her, could have been finalized if she had been male. This is in fact the feature film for which she wrote the screenplay and which is currently still in development. “There is always a suspicion of incompetence towards women“, declared the comedian, before revealing the reactions aroused by his desire to turn to cinema, being in front of and behind the camera: “I was told: ‘Ah well, you want to make a film, like Dany Boon Or Franck Dubosc ? And you want to act and also direct?’” Anne Roumanoff firmly assured that she was up to the task of this ambitious project, because she believes she has “skills”, but also “a story to tell, […] a team”. “I know how to write and play“, added the mother of Alice and Marie Vaillant, before concluding: “It’s annoying, but I am patient.”
