The doctor is said to have taken the vaccine from the vaccine center in the small town of Ascoli Piceno in central Italy, but not administered it, said Carabinieri and the public prosecutor’s office on Tuesday. He is also said to have issued evidence of vaccinations that were never made in 150 cases.
According to the police investigation, 73 people received a false vaccination certificate. The judiciary is investigating her and the doctor on suspicion of forgery. One person came under house arrest, according to prosecutors.
The investigators accuse the person of having acted as an agent for the doctor’s falsified certificates. The “green passports”, as the vaccination certificates are called in Italy, were confiscated. The police had found unusually high vaccination numbers at the doctor and had thus caught up with him. (SDA)
