DOFUS 2.66: List of new items and stuff in the update

With zones and monster families, the team Dofus necessarily adds items to each update. 2.66 is no exception to the format, with more than 30 pieces of equipment to collect and 9 outfits.

DOFUS 2.66: List of new equipment and stuff in the update

Note that all of the following screenshots are from the beta version. Items are subject to change before they arrive on regular servers. Some also have very specific effects, read the details carefully!

Low-levels: Sets and stuffs up to level 60

Temporis and beginner players eat very well with Dofus 2.66. The 40-60 bracket gains 4 sets covering 4 bi-elements. It’s a huge addition, fittingly following the Grunob Set from earlier this year. You will benefit from a host of new options and most importantly: they will be viable.

Rebels Set – Fire / Earth 50

It’s an excellent succession for the Gobball set with a bonus of 1 AP in just 3 items. It will be in competition with the 3rd generation trophies but remains a nice option with very good characteristics. Everything can even be combined with a Gelano and a Caracoiffe.

Rakooper Set – Air / Earth 50

It’s an alternative to the Rebel set offering a good element that is just as viable in mono stuff. Its Range penalty will be more disabling, however. However, it still retains an attractive AP bonus, which can be combined with Gelano. The panoply will be more useful for classes like the Iop or the Ouginak while his weapon will be a good asset, being one of the few viable BL weapons.

Albueran Warrior Set – Water/Earth 50

It follows the same design logic as the others, this time with very negligible penalties at low levels. The weapon is not as interesting but the range offers good characteristics overall, with vita bonuses making its FM easier.

Albueran Trapper Set – Fire / Agility 50

This is clearly an option for Eniripsas and healing classes, however with a flight penalty more impacting on these classes generally. The range remains very good, always with a good AP bonus and above all an interesting healing weapon.

High-levels: Sets and stuffs up to level 190

Ankama’s Game Design team continues its pursuit of adding equipment with an often overlooked slice. Better, the elements chosen are at these levels not very present and add options that are sometimes non-existent.

Embittered Hammers Set – Earth / Water 190

This panoply is quite special. Indeed, it has 2 weapons, to change according to your preferences and with different effects. The Shield will be the most limiting element, with a heavy spell penalty. You can nevertheless stay on an Amulet+Weapon combination, which is quite powerful.

Copperbell Barberyl Set – Water 190

Quite simply one of the best Water sets for the edge. And this, while Danathor and Glaciale exist. The set offers a superb do crit option with “perfect” characteristics and resistances. Its “modern” appearance clearly places it above the others.

Copperbell Set – Earth/Fire/Air 198

This is a “complete” 3-piece set. It is not necessarily meta by equipping it entirely, but offers good options or completions for certain stuffs. His weapon is also particularly interesting, with lines of damage similar to the Glouragan Hammer.

The 200 sets and items of the DOFUS 2.66 update

As at level 190, the Game Designers had fun. You can find 2 sets of equipment, each with a little game-changing twist. For now, they may seem overpowered or unnecessary, but that’s just the beginning.

Panoply Curse of Wax MomoreLevel 200

Wax Momore’s equipment inflicts a curse if you trigger a set bonus. Indeed, your number of MP will be 2 maximum via your stuff. You can always boost yourself in combat without limit in order to benefit from the very beautiful characteristics, in particular in resistances.

Hexes of Ephedrya – Level 200

Here, we use the same principle as the Hammers-Aigris set, by doubling it. The idea remains to maximize weapon damage, with however the absence of spell penalties. You will also have the choice to equip a weapon between two different ones and a ring among three. This little feature adds a modularity to the range that is unique enough to suit a majority of classes.

Yaularc – A new Fire/Earth Arc

As a small final bonus, it seems that Yaula, Game Designer who probably created the stuff for this update, has self-referenced beyond its Yaularakne. In any case, the Yaularc is a very nice weapon filling a lack of options for the bi-element, often relegated to Erhy Dagues or Bathon.

When is the Dofus 2.66 patch coming?

The beta of Dofus 2.66 will last 3 weeks, until December 6, 2022. This is also the end date of expeditions, leading us straight to a fairly explicit release date.
