DOFUS Touch 1.57: Dopples and Mastery Emblems


The release of DOFUS Touch Devlog 1.57 announces many important changes for level 200 players. The introduction of a brand new mechanic never seen on other versions of DOFUS, “Exaltation” and Mastery Emblems.

Removed the Dopple Summon spell

The emblematic DOFUS Touch spell unlocked at level 200 has already undergone a major balancing overhaul. This aimed to reduce the imbalance that the differences between each class dopple can bring but ultimately did not convince the developers.

Indeed, although all Dopples have identical spells, some classes benefit more from summons than others. The final decision will therefore be to simply remove the spell in favor of a new one: “exaltation”.

This spell, which can be cast from turn 4 to turn 10 depending on its level, costs 3 AP and grants 1 infinite additional AP. However, it can only be cast once per combat.

Speed ​​up the flow of battles

In high level fights the strategies are already all found. Remaining only the execution of “loops” of actions leading to victory.

It is these loops that are affected by this update. Offering 1 extra AP is a seemingly risky but well-considered choice:

Dopples are not the only ones bowing out on this new version. Class sets, sets of special items with the ability to modify spells in combat will also disappear. A new mechanic will replace them: Emblems of Mastery.

These emblems that you can equip in Dofus slots will have the same abilities as class equipment. However, they will only target one spell.

For example, you will be able to take full advantage of your equipment at the same time as modified spells.

Here are for the moment examples cited in the devblog:

  • Mastery Emblem: Magnetization (Rogue): Increases the number of casts per target by 1
  • Mastery Emblem: Vulnerability (Pandawa): Disables line of sight.
  • Emblem of Mastery: Summon Tactical Beacon (Crâ): Increases the number of casts per turn by 1.
  • Mastery Emblem: Power (Iop): Reduces relaunch time.

Changes to the shaping profession

To accommodate the crafting of these emblems, the crafter profession will be changed. The emblems being level 200, their manufacture will be done on 8 squares.

Changes are therefore necessary to balance the crafts of the profession, here are the new number of objects on DOFUS Touch 1.57:

  • Major Trophy: 8 Boxes → 7 Boxes
  • Turbulent and Traveler Trophy : 7 → 6 Squares
  • Medium Trophy: 7 Squares → 5 Squares
  • Minor Trophy : 6 Squares → 4 Squares
