Donald Trump is blocked on Twitter. And that includes accounts that allegedly post on his behalf, as the company clarifies.

The short message service Twitter has apparently blocked an account that shares contributions from Donald Trump’s (74) new news platform. This reports, among other things, “nbcnews.com”. In the account it was alleged that one tweeted “in the name” of the former US president. A company spokesman said the report said “@DJTDesk” violated the guidelines by sharing content that was “linked to a blocked account.”

In January, Trump was banned from Twitter and Facebook after allegedly inciting news that led to the violent storming of the Capitol in Washington. On Tuesday (May 4th) he launched his own communication platform called “From the Desk of Donald J Trump”. This enables users to share their content on social media. Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller told NBC News that the @DJTDesk Twitter account was not set up by anyone associated with the ex-president.
