Your Web.de account is the target of phishing scammers. They want to use a nasty scam to gain access to the mailer. This way you avoid danger.

In order to gain this access, the criminals claim in a message with the subject “E-mail request from web.de” that the mailer has received a request to deactivate your email account. The supposed request can be reversed by clicking on an attached link.
With this scam, the scammers want to take advantage of your insecurity. Of course, the deactivation was never requested and therefore cannot be canceled. According to the consumer advice center, the link leads to a page where your personal information and login data for Web.de are requested. If you provide them, the criminals can access your emails and steal other sensitive data.
You can easily tell that this nasty scam is a phishing email from the dubious sender address and the impersonal salutation. By contacting customer support via official channels, you can also check whether it is a fake. We advise you to simply move the message to the spam folder and not reply to it.
