Since 2007, Nagui has been surrounded by many singers and musicians in Don’t forget the lyrics, on France 2. Emblematic face of the show, Magali Ripoll knows all the secrets of it. Thursday October 20, 2022, in the columns of Here, the singer made revelations about the voice-over of the game show. “There is a very funny thing and it concerns Cruella. The vast majority of people working on Don’t Forget the Lyrics, who are really on set like the security department, the hostesses and the audience, don’t know who she is! Nobody knows who it is. It’s awesome !“, she indicated, before specifying: “Even the maestros don’t know who she is! She is already not visible on the board, but in a special place to work.“
Amused, Magali Ripoll slipped during this interview: “We can meet her in a hallway to go to the canteen, but we do not know that she is Cruella. Candidates are refused to see it but in the end no one really asks. The audience and the dancers who set the mood on the set also don’t know who she is.“Assuring to have already seen Cruella, it is with humor that the singer added:”She is horrible and full of hair. And the teeth lying on the ground, it’s filthy. What is funny is that this is not the case at all! I hope one day it will be revealed!“
Nagui: “I asked someone from the team to take a microphone”
In April 2021, in the columns of Télé Star, Nagui lifted the veil on Cruella’s presence on the show. He had indeed said:To validate the correct answers or repeat the previous sentences useful to the candidates, I wore a headset. Until the day when a technician, whom I never want to meet again in my life, sent 1,000 hertz to my ears. It hit me like a knife! Today I have lifelong tinnitus. Then I asked someone from the team to take a microphone and we ended up baptizing her Cruella.“
