Launched on the antenna of France 2 in 2007, the show Do not forget the lyrics has established itself as one of the essential programs of the public channel these last years. Regularly beating audience records in access prime time, the musical game embodied by Naguiwho is also the producer, relies on a fairly simple mechanic, given that it is a giant karaoke duel. Every evening, the champion, more commonly known as Maestro, puts his silver mic back in play against a new challenger. This was once again the case on Thursday September 22, 2022, when the current champion Do not forget the lyricsYoan, was measured against his new rival: Maëlle.
It was finally without great difficulty that the Maestro kept his silver microphone that evening, signing in passing a 17th victory since his first appearance in Do not forget the lyrics. So far, the amount of his kitty has shown no less than 84,000 euros. If he manages to remain champion for a few more days, Yoan will have the possibility of appearing in the ranking of the 32 best candidates in the history of the musical game, and thus to directly integrate the Masters of Do not forget the lyrics. During this show, Nagui took out of his archive box the passages of certain celebrities on the set of his show, before they become known.
Nagui: “One day Vincent Dedienne, the images will pass, I promise you”
The host thus broadcast the performance of Anaïs Delva, mainly known for being the performer of the tube Let It Gofrom the famous animated film Snow Queen. The latter had managed to win the tidy sum of 35,000 euros at the time. Afterwards, Nagui broadcast the passage of Gauvain Sers in Do not forget the lyrics, who for his part left empty-handed. Shortly after, the presenter recalled that another celebrity had “make a casting to come on the show“, but that she “was not selected“. In fact, it was the comedian Vincent Dedienne. “We never aired that show, ’cause I keep blackmailing him, of course, into giving me money“, joked the host, before putting a big blow of pressure on the actor: “But one day Vincent Dedienne, the images will pass, I promise you“.
