Dordogne: three injured, one serious in a head-on collision in Groléjac

A traffic accident left three injured, including one serious, on the night of Friday 7 to Saturday 8 January, in the town of Groléjac (Dordogne).

The tragedy occurred around midnight in the village, on the departmental road 704. It involved two cars driving in the opposite direction and which collided head-on. The driver of the first vehicle, aged 50, had to be extricated by the fire brigade. She suffers from trauma to the lower limbs, upper limbs and thorax and was taken care of by a medical team from Samu. She was evacuated to the Gourdon hospital center (46).

Two people were in the second vehicle. One had left the scene before the arrival of help. The other is a 20 year old man. Slightly injured, he was transported to Sarlat hospital. The traffic had to be interrupted by the gendarmes during the emergency operations.
