Double use: A Tiny House as a caravan

Not everything that bears the “Tiny House” label is really “tiny”. Large US models in particular tend to blur the boundaries of classic house construction. This is completely different with the Roam model from the US manufacturer Nook Tiny Homes. While the dimensions are reminiscent of a camping trailer, the vehicle looks like a real tiny house from the inside.

At only 3.6 meters in length, you will find everything you need to accommodate guests or for your own camping trip. This includes around four sleeping places in the rear, which the manufacturer implements as bunk beds. The wood paneling creates a warm, natural atmosphere. Mineral wool provides insulation at low temperatures. There is ample storage space under the lower bed, where you can also store bulky luggage.

The kitchen is also remarkably equipped. In addition to a household-sized refrigerator, there is a sink with running hot and cold water. There is also a cooking possibility (induction). Hard to believe, but the manufacturer even accommodates a bathroom in this limited space. You can reach the toilet and shower via a space-saving sliding door.

In the standard version, power is supplied via shore power, like in a mobile home. Optionally, Nook Tiny Homes in the Roam also install solar cells on the roof, so you can stand self-sufficient.
