While Dr Disrespect fans thought they had seen it all, or almost, the colorful streamer subtly hinted that he was preparing an album.
If there’s one thing dedicated Champions Club members and casual viewers can agree on, it’s that Dr Disrespect doesn’t do things by halves.
Whether it’s the immersive scenes around his “arena” or personalized transitions adapted to the game streamed, he always seeks to impress his audience. In the end, few streamers can boast of having developed such a universe.
Always in search of innovation, Dr Disrespect did not hesitate to create his own music to enrich his lives. From “Gillette” to “Alleyways” via “Red Skies”, his original songs have been listened to by millions of people until they have become real hits.
Dr Disrespect always has more than one trick up his sleeve.
Eager to double down and capitalize on this success, Dr Disrespect now seems to have decided to take it to the next level: a full album. Although it is still too early to get concrete information, the streamer still let slip some details during his last live.
The arrival of an album is on the horizon
A few weeks ago Dr Disrespect released an unfinished song in the middle of his stream. Wrapped up, internet users had asked him to repeat the experience, which he did in his live performance on March 30.
“Do you have anything new?”asked the streamer during a call during the live. “Is it still rough? Do you want me to play it now, if the song is not complete, if we haven’t done the harmonies yet?
Naturally, he couldn’t resist, and the track quickly went viral. The title appears to be a collaboration with a producer by the name of Volkor X, who incorporated phrases from The Doc over a remix of the main Interstellar theme composed by Hans Zimmer.
Shortly after presenting this new song, Dr Disrespect teased that a much bigger project was in the works. For Internet users there is no doubt, they are an album.
“Between the album, the bourbon, the game studio that will soon be over $100 million, the show, I have a lot to do,” did he declare.
It’s unfortunately still early to try to guess when the album might arrive, if at all, or how many original songs it might contain.
