Saturday July 30, 2022, France 2 broadcast a new issue of Drag Race France. La Big Bertha and Lolita Banana impressed the jury following their performance on the song Corps, by singer Yseult.
A performance that touched the greatest number… In the sixth episode of Drag Race Francethe Big Bertha and Lolita Banana, in waivers, clashed on stage. Nicky Doll told the two candidates: “It’s your last chance to impress us with legendary lip sync!” Faced with Yseult, Alexandre Mattiussi, Daphne Bürki and Kiddy Smile, they chose to interpret Body, Yseult’s flagship song. Before their performance, Lolita Banana said, “I feel empty. I just want to have a cathartic experience.“For its part, the Big Bertha slipped:”I want to live this song!” From the first notes, Yseult and Daphne Burkimoved, began to cry. On stage, Lolita Banana took off her wig before shaving her dyed pink hair. The Big Bertha meanwhile undressed displaying her curves.
At the end of their performance, the Big Bertha said: “At the very beginning it was a lip sync and at the end it’s a duet. I would never have imagined doing this duet with her!“Particularly moved, Lolita Banana confided: “I needed this. I needed this very liberating moment!“After wiping away her tears, Nicky Doll said, “Girls, it was amazing! I think we are all flabbergasted by the emotion you have delivered.“However, the Big Bertha was eliminated.”Thank you for everything ! You brought us love, poetry, your passion and I can’t wait to see the rest. But for now, know that you will be missed“, assured him Nicky Doll. To which the Big Bertha replied: “A huge thank you to all of you, to all the teams also around. I hope I didn’t disappoint you, I gave it my all (…) It’s not the end!“
