The announcement of this new episode was first made in March 2023, during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event, captivating the audience with an initial teaser. Then, during the Game Awards 2023 in December, fans got an additional taste with the release of a trailer showcasing gameplay and characters.
The game is planned to be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, although the exact launch date has yet to be announced.
