Dragon Quest X Offline is promoting on video

In the archipelago, on the other hand, the release of this 100% offline version of what is initially an online RPG by subscription is well set for September 15 on PS5, PS4, Switch and even Steam. No login, no subscription, just an 8,580 yen (60 euros) note to swipe to embark on a traditional Dragon Quest with some major differences from its online counterpart, starting with the artistic direction at the old world and turn-based combat. The starting point is however the same, namely that the player’s soul, that of a human killed by a great villain, has the choice of reincarnating in one of the five main tribes of the world of Astoltia.

Note that the release of Dragon Quest X Offline takes place 10 years after the debut of Dragon Quest X Online, which Square Enix has never let down since. A new edition “All-In-One Package” bringing together the content of updates 1.0 to 6.0 will also be marketed on October 20 in Japan, with at least a decade of stories.

With us, Dragon Quest will still have news at the end of the year thanks to the worldwide release of the spin-off Dragon Quest Treasures on December 9 on Switch.
