Last Wednesday, November 15, Laura Smet celebrated her fortieth spring. To celebrate this symbolic milestone, the daughter of Johnny Hallyday and Nathalie Baye organized an evening with loved ones at the Café de l’Hommea restaurant located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Eddy Mitchell, his godfather, was among the guests.
In an exclusive interview given to Pointthe faithful friend of Laura Smet’s late father spoke behind the scenes of this anniversary. According to him, everything didn’t go as planned : “I’m Laura’s godfather, we just celebrated her 40th birthday in a beautiful place, but dramaticthe restaurant of the Musée de L’Homme.” confided the interpreter of Mint water color. He continued: “The disc jockey was playing too loud, we couldn’t talk to each other. I asked to lower, the girl replied: you are like Mick Jagger who can’t stand noise.”.

Eddy Mitchell recently released a book called Eddy Mitchell, my ideal nightclub in which he talks about his favorite artists. Guest on the show RTL Morningfacing Amandine Bégot, the latter questioned him about the absence of his friend Johnny Hallyday in his ideal playlist. “While reading this book, I was a little surprised, because there is not a song by Johnny Hallyday… And afterwards, when I read in detail, you do not talk about him on every page , but there are plenty of anecdotes with Johnny Hallyday”the journalist pointed out to him. Eddy Mitchell may not regularly listen to Johnny Hallyday but his friendship for him remains intact despite the years that pass. “Do you miss him?”asked Amandine Bégot. “Yes, of course! Of course! Not a day goes by without an anecdote that comes up or a thought for him…” said Laura Smet’s godfather.
