Head to the Kingdoms of the Hidden World

Headed by Outright Games, an actor renowned for its many adaptations of family games (paw patrol, Dragons: Dawn of the New Riders)DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Realms presents itself as an action and adventure game. The title offers a story through the kingdoms of the hidden world, with several iconic places from the animated series of the same name, such as the valley of darkness or the cave of crystals.

You understood, the game adapts the eponymous animated series, which takes place in the same universe but 1300 years later than the films. No Toothless therefore, but four dragons that we can control, namely Thunder, Bissocorn, Panache, Wu and Wei, who will each have their own skills and abilities. Bissocorn can for example attack from a distance with its drooling attacks. The objective will be to chain various levels where our four dragons will have to save the Thunder family and the Dragon Kingdoms. A few small puzzles will sprinkle our progress, and we will have to overcome several enemies, including slightly tougher bosses.

DreamWorks Dragons: Legends of the Nine Kingdoms will launch on September 23, 2022 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia. The good news is that there will indeed be a physical version, with the presence of a special 40-page booklet that will retrace the events that took place between the Dragons films and the series in question. Physical pre-orders aren’t available yet, but will arrive soon.
