Drillisch is now hiring the next well-known mobile phone brand

Mobile communications provider Drillisch has now ended marketing the eteleon brand. This means that there are no longer any new contracts under the name, but nothing will change for existing customers. It’s all part of streamlining the offerings.

Drillisch officially announced a few weeks ago that the company would withdraw further brands from marketing. Now it hits the mobile phone brand eteleon. The “tariff jungle” is clearing up further. A number of other well-known brands, including Phonex, helloMobil, McSIM and BigSIM, have already been canceled in recent years. As is the case now with eteleon, this initially only affected the active marketing of the offers; existing customers will continue to receive their agreed tariff services.

Nothing will change for eteleon customers

The eteleon brand has been around for over 20 years. A few years ago, the company eteleon AG was incorporated into the Drillisch Group. As a result, the marketing of other eteleon AG brands, such as discoSURF and fastSIM, was gradually discontinued.

Tariff change still possible

The website on which the tariffs could previously be booked now redirects directly to mein.eteleon.de. This is part of the Drillisch service world, in which eteleon customers can continue to log in. As far as is known, existing customers can still change tariffs and book other services. Drillisch wants to focus on the strongest brands – and according to the company, these are smartmobil.de and yourfone.

But there are a number of other brands that should still have a future, at least for the time being: in addition to smartmobil.de and yourfone, there are winSIM, PremiumSIM, DeutschlandSIM, sim.de and simplytel.
