This is good news for Formula 1 fans: the documentary series “Formula One: pilots of their destiny”, subtitled “Drive To Survive” and broadcast on Netflix, is back for two more seasons. The opportunity to follow the adventures of pilots, managers or team owners in 2022 and 2023.

Formula 1 fans will be able to continue to follow drivers like Max Verstappen, managers or team owners in 2022 and 2023. The streaming service Netflix is therefore signing for a fifth and sixth season.
Former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell to guest star
Released in 2018, the series has met with great success in recent years, according to the platform, and not only connoisseurs. The series even ranked first among the most watched programs on the American platform in 33 countries. “The series has grown in popularity over time, with Season 4 attracting the biggest viewership yet and breaking into the weekly top 10 in 56 countries,” the statement read.
For good reason, like in previous seasons, the series highlighted the director of the Red Bull team, Christian Horner, and his wife Geri Halliwell, the former member of the Spice Girls. With a plot around Formula 1 teams during car championships, the documentary series has achieved a tour de force: attracting the general public to the world of motorsport. Filming for season 5 has already started, we confirm within Formula 1, but the next episodes will not be available before March 2023.
