Driver has no chance – cyclist thrown onto pavement after collision

A Viennese man who was driving his car into the city of Klagenfurt had no chance to react when a cyclist suddenly appeared in front of him.

The 25-year-old Viennese was on his way into the city on Völkermarkter Straße in Klagenfurt on Sunday around 8:20 p.m. when, at the same time, a 53-year-old from Klagenfurt was riding his bicycle out of town and suddenly turned left in front of the oncoming car. The handlebar of the car was thrown onto the sidewalk could no longer prevent a collision with the cyclist.
