Driver unharmed – near-crash in Schwaz ended lightly

Evening fire brigade on Wednesday in Schwaz: A city gritter almost crashed. The fire brigade secured the vehicle.

At around 5:35 p.m., a 50-year-old local drove the all-terrain truck on Gallzeinerstraße coming from Gallzein in the direction of Schwaz. To enable two oncoming cars to pass, the man steered the vehicle to the right edge of the lane. The driver was able to leave the truck independently and was unharmed. In order to prevent it from slipping further, the vehicle was secured by the Schwaz fire brigade and then pulled onto the road using a crane.
