DRONE VOLT: DRONE VOLT announces the sale of a Heliplane LRS in Canada to Groupe Gilbert – 06/21/2022 at 18:00

Villepinte, June 21, 2022

DRONE VOLT, expert in embedded artificial intelligence and manufacturer of professional civilian drones, announces the sale of a Heliplane LRS in Canada to Groupe Gilbert.

Groupe Gilbert is a major player in transportation, logistics and civil and mining engineering in Canada. His choice fell on the 240 cm wingspan version

.

The Heliplane LRS is a VTOL – Vertical Take-Off and Landing – drone. Its fixed wing allows it to fly for up to 3 hours and to cover nearly 300 km linearly (340 version). This solution is thus particularly relevant for mapping, inspection and surveillance missions.

The acquisition of the Heliplane LRS responds to the Gilbert Group’s desire to deploy a cutting-edge technological solution on a large scale to ensure the control, optimization, planning and better vision of the sites operated by the group.

The use of this solution is a first in North America and the Gilbert Group intends to deploy it on a large scale, because it adapts to northern and real site conditions and makes it possible to optimize site controls and costs.

“This first sale in North America gives us confidence for the future deployment of this type of solution in Canada and the United States. »

says Marc Courcelle, Managing Director of DRONE VOLT.

“The feedback is also very positive and the requests were very high during the last EEEI show in New Orleans, where we presented this solution. »
