DSDS 2020: good news! New juror after being kicked out

The expulsion of jury member Xavier Naidoo came as a surprise to many DSDS fans. After the scandalized video in which Xavier sang about the danger posed by migrants, RTL kicked the singer out of the jury. When it comes to racism, the fun stops at RTL and before Xavier could realize he was off his job at DSDS.

Dieter Bohlen is a surprise

The jury in the last show was therefore not completely filled – only Pietro Lombardi, Oana Nechiti and pop titan Dieter Bohlen were allowed to judge the remaining participants. But that should change again soon:

There will be four of us here again next Saturday!

So he lets the surprise bomb burst in the last show. The jury gets reinforcements! But whoever will take the place of Xavier Naidoo, the pop titan unfortunately does not reveal. Instead, it makes it particularly exciting. Because there is a possibility that a different juror will join the other three each time until the final.

A show without hate

Incidentally, Dieter Bohlen is completely behind RTL's decision: "We are doing an entertainment program here and not hatred or agitation, which is why the whole jury and my whole team are behind the decision of RTL and UFA", he explains and receives a lot of applause.

Whirlwind at this year's live shows

The viewers are probably already used to the many changes in DSDS, because everything is different anyway with this year's live shows. First, there is a new moderator: Alexander Klaws, the first DSDS winner ever. Second, "Golden CDs" are now being awarded in every live show. You can find out what this means here. And third, there are the effects of the corona virus, which will leave the audience seats almost empty. Oh, the casting show is really going haywire this year.
