“DSDS” goes into the next round with a new jury. If you feel like singing, you still have the chance to come to the “Open Casting” in Burghausen.

The castings for the upcoming “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” season will take place on the market square: This year, Wernigerode and Burghausen will serve as the backdrop for all the episodes of the jury castings. As RTL has now announced, production in Wernigerode has been completed and construction is currently underway in Burghausen.

For the first time, the talents appear in front of the jury in a glass cube specially designed for the castings. Interested passers-by should have the opportunity to take a look at the set and the new “DSDS” jury with Florian Silbereisen (39), Ilse DeLange (44) and Toby Gad (53). “I think it’s great that the new DSDS is going out on the marketplaces! We are in the middle of the city! Everyone can come by, watch – and take part!”, Says a happy Silbereisen.

Anyone between the ages of 16 and 30 can take part

Those who not only want to watch but also appear in front of the jury still have the chance to come to the “open casting” in Burghausen. “Anyone who enjoys singing and is between 16 and 30 years old can take part – without having to register,” explains the broadcaster. The date is Sunday, August 1, 2021, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Hotel Glöcklhofer, Ludwigsberg 4, 84489 Burghausen). A valid ID is required. Participation is only possible if the Covid test result is negative, there is a test option on site, it is said.
