The Multistrada V2, designed more for traveling on paved roads, is now accompanied by a fully off-road sister model to Ducati. The new Desert X is from the largely identical 937 cm3 large Testastretta 11 ° V2 engine, whereby the maximum output was slightly capped to 110 hp and 92 Nm torque.
With long suspension travel (front 230 mm, rear 20 mm) and large wheels with appropriate studded tires (v 90 / 90-21, h 150/70-R18), it is ideally equipped for driving on unpaved gravel roads. And with four engine and six driving modes, traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake and the navigation system controlled via the smartphone app, the Desert X leaves nothing to be desired, even in terms of equipment.
