Duchess Camilla: She shows herself with chic mouth-nose protection

The British royals are also rethinking: after Prince William, Duchess Camilla is now showing mouth-and-nose protection.

After Prince William (38), it is only the second high-ranking member of the British royal family to show himself in public with a mask: Duchess Camilla (73) had mouth-and-nose protection taken while she was going to the National Gallery in London . In the past few days and weeks, criticism of the British royals has arisen again and again, as, among other things, her husband Prince Charles (71) and she even refrained from using Corona protection in public appearances.

Even though Prince Charles has already had a Covid 19 disease and is probably immune, he should serve as a role model for others, the main tenor in the British forest of leaves. His wife now showed up with a blue face mask with a peacock pattern from a corresponding collection from the luxury department store Liberty London. The design comes from the pen of the designer Fiona Clare and was matched to the navy blue color of her simple tunic dress.

The occasion for her appearance was the reopening of the famous art museum in Trafalgar Square after 111 days – as the first large gallery in the United Kingdom. During her visit, the Duchess of Cornwall kept the mask on and even joked about it. After congratulating those responsible for the reopening and the developed hygiene concept, she pointed to her mask and said: "If someone can hear me through this … Anyway: Congratulations to all of you."
