The world mourns Queen Elizabeth. Duchess Catherine is also dismayed, but tries to hide her emotions behind sunglasses, as shown by the first recordings after the monarch’s official death.
The death of Queen Elizabeth, † 96, on September 8, 2022 should also have put Duchess Catherine, 40, in deep mourning. Now Prince Williams, 40, wife was spotted in Windsor for the first time since Buckingham Palace was announced at 7:30 p.m. German time. According to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge picked up her children Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, by car from the new Lambrook School near Ascot.

By now, William should be back at his new home, Adelaide Cottage, in Berkshire. The heir to the throne had previously returned by plane from Balmoral, where he also met his brother Prince Harry, 37, who also said goodbye to his grandmother on his deathbed.
