Duchess Kate loves creations by Alexander McQueen and Co. But she also gives cheaper labels a chance: royal looks for shopping.

There are no fashion missteps with Duchess Kate. Prince William’s wife (40) always makes a stylish appearance, whether it’s archery or at the racecourse. The 40-year-old not only relies on her favorite designers like Alexander McQueen, but also on smaller brands. These royal looks are affordable and suitable for everyday use.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s appearance in the Bahamas was light and summery: she combined light espadrilles with wedge heels with a pink shirt dress from the Rixo brand. A color-coordinated clutch rounded off the feel-good look. Cost of the dress: the equivalent of around 150 euros.

Kate is a repeat offender

It’s even cheaper: During her visit to University College in London in October 2021, the style icon drew everyone’s attention with her stylish autumn look. Prince William’s wife appeared in a light gray houndstooth dress with long sleeves, a tie and a pleated skirt. A wide belt at the waist accentuated the slim silhouette perfectly. Kate’s midi dress is a very affordable model from Zara for around 100 euros. The mum of three wore it on a visit to Bradford in 2020.

Duchess Kate’s shoes are often in a similar price range. For a charity event On the occasion of World Children’s Day, she came very casually in a sporty blazer and jeans. The 40-year-old also wore sneakers that are available for 125 euros.
