Duchess Meghan, 41, lived in Canada as an actress, after “Megxit” it moved Prince Harry, 38, and their then newborn son Archie, now 4, in North America. There, today’s Duchess of Sussex met a friend in 2016 who she still treasures to this day: Sophie Trudeau, 48.

And revealed exciting details about their friendship: In early 2022, the Duchess of Sussex hosted a pool party at her property in California. For the two friends, it was a great opportunity to “bring the kids together, drink wine and swim.” It was “very exciting” for Meghan, “because I hadn’t seen her in a while.” Also part of the game in the pool: “an inflatable pizza”.

At that time, Meghan was still known as an actress. Today she is the Duchess of Sussex – and still a friend of Sophie Trudeau.
