Duchess Meghan + Prince Harry: appearance with William and Kate will be “frosty”

The visit to England by Duchess Meghan, Prince Harry and their children is eagerly awaited. It is now clear which dates the Sussexes will take part in. However, a royal expert doubts whether it will be so harmonious.

Once considered the new “Fab Four”, they are now divided by a deep gulf full of allegations, revelations and hurt feelings. After Duchess Meghan, 40, and Prince Harry, 37, resigned as senior royals from the British royal family and left Great Britain, the relationship between them and Prince William, 39, and Duchess Catherine, 40, became increasingly tense. The reason for this is, among other things, the interviews in which the Sussexes made serious allegations against the Royal Family.

Kate and William reunion is eagerly awaited

The Queen’s Jubilee, which will be celebrated in England from June 2nd to 5th, 2022 and to which Meghan, Harry and their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 11 months, will now also come after much hesitation, should give a small glimmer of hope be a reconciliation of the quarreling parties. Harry and Meghan will even attend the thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday 3 June with William and Kate and other family members. But can that go well?

No, says royal expert and biographer Angela Levin. “I think the service at St Paul’s is going to be very stressful for the royals, especially William and Catherine who feel like they [die Sussexes] failed the royal family. It’s going to be as chilly as the 2020 Commonwealth service. The brothers will be looking serious and I suspect Meghan’s Hollywood smile will be fixed,” Levin told the Daily Mail.

The author refers to a grim shot taken at Commonwealth Service in 2020 as we exited Westminster Abbey. It was Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s last official appearance as senior royals.

Angela Levin goes on to explain that a film crew could also be present at the service. “Netflix might insist they’re in – and they probably won’t be able to say no now because they might be dropped altogether. Harry and Meghan have shown they love the limelight and attention, and they’ll want to show the world that they’re still part of the royal family, especially as their popularity in the US plummets,” Levin said.

Do Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have to sit in the “indecent corner”?

The biographer predicted that Buckingham Palace could decide to place all royals in a “long front row” divided by the aisle to ease tensions between the “enemy factions”. “The seating arrangement will be a big problem. You [Meghan und Harry] couldn’t sit near the queen, charles and william because they don’t work as royals anymore. I would expect them to be seated with Princess Eugenie, to whom they remain close, and they might even be seated in an ‘indecent corner’ with their father, the Duke of York.”

Because Prince Andrew, 62, is also expected at the thanksgiving service on June 2, according to reports from “The Times”. It would be his first public appearance after accompanying his mother to his father’s memorial service – and receiving a lot of criticism for it.
