When Duchess Meghan became part of the British royal family, she allegedly took wise advice from Princess Anne, which she did not follow.

Princess Anne, 71, is considered the hardest-working member of the British royal family. Not only is she the patron of numerous organizations, she always carries out her tasks conscientiously and without seeking the limelight. When Duchess Meghan, 41, joined the Royal Family, Anne gave Prince Harry’s wife, 37, an important suggestion, as a Royal expert now claims.

Duchess Meghan ignored Princess Anne’s wise advice

In a post on his YouTube channel, expert Neil Sean reports on a meeting between Duchess Meghan and Princess Anne. Queen Elizabeth’s only daughter, 96, “takes on endless commitments. She shows up, does her work and […] represents the Queen,” says the nobility expert. “According to a very good source, Princess Anne gave the new royal extremely wise advice,” he continues. Because the 71-year-old wanted to teach the Duchess of Sussex her own mantra.

“She pointed out that royal life is a job of showing up on time, doing your research and doing your duty.” Anne also emphasized that you have to get involved with the charities you are involved with. This meeting left Meghan “speechless”. However, according to Sean, she didn’t take Harry’s aunt’s advice to heart because, as patron of the National Theatre, she was “not too involved” with it at the time.

Princess Anne is said to have guessed Meghan’s short royal “lifespan”.

In addition, Duchess Meghan did not necessarily avoid the limelight. Another source told the nobility expert that the 41-year-old could never “warm up” to Princess Anne. This seemed to be mutual, at least Anne is said not to have believed in Meghan’s future within the British royal family. “Princess Anne always knew that Meghan would have a very short lifespan in the British monarchy,” Sean said.
