(CercleFinance.com) – Dufry confirms that it has extended its duty-free distribution contract at Belo Horizonte International Airport in Brazil, operated by a partnership between CCR and Zurich Airport, for a further two-year period, i.e. up to ‘in 2029.

In addition, a contract awarded for ten years will allow the Swiss group to continue to operate its current portfolio of four tax-paid stores, and to build three new ones, in this airport where it has been present since 2007.

This contract extension further consolidates Dufry’s strong presence in South America, with Belo Horizonte being the seventh largest airport in Brazil with more than 11 million passengers annually (base 2019).
