The second part of Dunes gets a new release date in dark rooms. And unlike Marvel blockbusters, there is no question of a postponement.
Production delays multiply for big budget films. Indeed, Disney has recently chosen to shift the launch date of several of its superhero films. Deadpool 3the reboot of Fantastic Four, avengers secret wars and a last feature film are concerned. On the side of Warner Bros., we take the opposite path since Dunes: Part 2 take a step forward.
A little difference that makes you happy
The sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s film, which began shooting last summer, was originally supposed to arrive on November 17, 2023. In the end, Warner gave a new date set for November 3 next year. Note that this announcement is valid for the American market and that the French date is not yet known. The feature film will therefore not find itself in direct competition with The Hunger Games: The Ride of the Snake and the Songbird which will land (also) on November 17, 2023.
Anyway, the second part of Dunes is extremely expected after the six Oscars collected by the first film. The cast composed of Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya or even Javier Bardem will quite logically be renewed, with some new faces in passing. See you in 2023!
