Dungeons & Dragons: A new AAA game running on Unreal Engine 5 announced by Wizards of the Coast

Good news for players who are fans of the famous license Dungeons & Dragons. Earlier this week, Wizards of the Coast announced that a new game from the franchise was in development. Designed by the team behind the action-RPG Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance within Invoke Studios (formerly Tuque Games), it will bea AAA running under Unreal Engine 5.

A former Ubisoft at the head of the project

Apart from this information, we still know very little about this title whose production still seems very early. Just know that the project is led by Dominic Guayan industry veteran who worked for about twenty years at Ubisoft, notably on licensing Splinter Cell and far cry although he also helped create the series Watchdogs.

Note that, according to the press release published by the American publisher, the development team currently has 80 employees and the Canadian studio hopes to increase this number to more than 200 by 2025. Hopefully it will not take not wait so long before having news of the game. To be continued.
