Dungeons & Dragons: Living Dead, Rock, and Michelle Rodriguez Smashing It All in Fun New Trailer

On April 12, “Dungeons and Dragons” will be given a new look on the big screen with a new film, “Honor Thieves”, which promises to be both spectacular and fun in view of the latest images.

Will Dungeons and Dragons fans finally get an adaptation they won’t be ashamed of? After three sinister films (including the one led by Jeremy Irons in 2000), the famous role-playing game will be given a new look at the cinema under the leadership of the duo Jonathan Goldstein – John Francis Daley, to whom we owe the amusing Vive les vacances and Game Night.

Two directors and screenwriters who have comedy in their blood, and it shows in the images unveiled so far. Including this new trailer, which is as much about the action (thanks to a tougher-than-ever Michelle Rodriguez) as it is about humor.

Expected April 12 in theaters, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Thieves seems to have the ingredients for effective and fun entertainment, with action scenes that, in this trailer, seem readable and well filmed. The result is also reminiscent of Thor: Ragnarok, which also injected a dose of Led Zeppelin (with “Immigrant Song” at Marvel and “Whole Lotta Love” here) in a comico-spectacular cocktail.

Presented as the starting point of a new franchise that will also be available in series, Dungeons and Dragons will also be about spells, curses, red mages and the living dead which will be faced by the heroes played by Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith and Sophia Lillis.

Or Regé-Jean Page, whose unfailing seriousness of his character should be one of the comic springs of the feature film in which Hugh Grant will play the big bad. With smile.
